Frequently Ask Questions

  • Booking is completed through my online system. Once you select your session, here full payment and a signed agreement are required to secure your date. Dates are not held without confirmation.

  • Sessions are relaxed, guided, and intentional. Depending on your experience level and need, I’ll direct you throughout in a way that feels natural and easy, so you’re never left wondering what to do.

  • We will discuss your session on a call. Creative direction varies between project type and scope. I provide general assistance with planning, and professional opinion, but for large projects beyond a general scope, creative direction is an additional fee.

  • Pricing is based on project type and complexity. All pricing is disclosed after filling out the inquiry form. Price will change if project demand is outside of the pricing page range.

  • Wardrobe is discussed during the planning process so your session feels aligned with your vision. I provide guidance based on location, tone, and the type of story we’re creating together.

  • No. All sessions must be fully paid during your booking process.

  • Each session includes a curated gallery of professionally edited images. The exact number varies depending on the type and length of your session, but every image delivered is intentional and carefully selected.

  • No. RAW or unedited files are not released. Each image is carefully selected and edited in my signature style to maintain consistency across my work.

  • You receive personal printing and sharing rights with your gallery. This allows you to download, print, and use your images for personal use. Commercial usage is handled separately if needed.

  • Select images may be shared for portfolio, website, or social media use unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Privacy preferences can always be discussed before your session.

  • Final galleries are delivered within 2–3 weeks for portraits, birthdays, lifestyle, and maternity sessions, and 4–6 weeks for events and gatherings. Clients have the option to request expedited photos.

  • Final galleries are delivered through a private online link where you can view, download, and share your images easily.

  • Galleries remain active for 90 days after delivery. Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up their images within that timeframe.

  • Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to severe weather at my discretion. Overcast conditions are not considered inclement weather and often photograph beautifully.

  • In the rare event I’m unable to fulfill a booking due to emergency or unforeseen circumstances, I will either provide a trusted replacement photographer or issue a full refund or option to reschedule.

  • All bookings are final once confirmed. One reschedule is permitted with at least 7 days notice and is subject to availability. Or client forfeits payment if cancelation is not within the timeframe. If client cancels without rescheduling, a 50% refund will be returned.

  • Pricing reflects the time, experience, and care that goes into each session. Occasionally, special offerings may be available and are shared directly through my channels.

  • I’m based in Atlanta and work throughout surrounding areas. I also travel for sessions and events when the story calls for it—travel details are discussed during inquiry and are not included in session price. For travel sessions or events outside my local area, travel fees are added based on location and logistics. This may include transportation, lodging, or additional costs depending on the project.

  • Pets are not allowed, unless the project is per focused. A $60 pet fee will be charged during booking, and client is responsible for any damages that may occur.

Booking & Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session date. Dates are not held or confirmed without full payment. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Because each session requires intentional planning and preparation, all bookings are final.

One reschedule is permitted if requested at least 7 days prior to your session date and subject to availability. Requests made within 7 days of the scheduled session are not eligible for rescheduling or credit.

If a client chooses to cancel for any reason, all payments are forfeited.

Late Arrival

Sessions begin at the scheduled start time. A 5-minute grace period is provided. After 5 minutes, a $50 late fee will apply.

If a client arrives late, that time will be deducted from the session. Sessions will not be extended due to late arrival.

Image Delivery

Final galleries are delivered via a private online link for viewing, downloading, and sharing.

Delivery timelines vary by session type:

  • Portraits, birthdays, lifestyle, maternity: 2–3 weeks

  • Events & gatherings: 4–6 weeks

All editing is completed at the photographer’s discretion to maintain a consistent artistic style.

Gallery Access & Downloads

Weather Policy

Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to severe weather at the photographer’s discretion. Cloudy or overcast conditions do not qualify for rescheduling.

Model Release

Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, Ashley’s Focus Photography reserves the right to use images for portfolio, website, social media, marketing, and promotional purposes.

Guest Policy (Events)

Guests are welcome to enjoy the event, however interference with photography coverage may impact final deliverables. The photographer is not responsible for missed moments due to obstruction or guest interference.

Creative Control

Clients book Ashley’s Focus Photography for a specific artistic style, as represented in the portfolio. Final images are edited at the photographer’s discretion to maintain consistency in tone, color, and style. Requests for specific edits outside of this style are not guaranteed.

Client Responsibility Clause

Clients are responsible for arriving prepared for their session, including but not limited to wardrobe, grooming, props, locations, and any agreed-upon session requirements discussed prior to the shoot.

Ashley’s Focus Photography is not responsible for outcomes impacted by incomplete preparation, missed instructions, or failure to provide necessary materials or information.

While guidance and direction are provided throughout the planning process, the client acknowledges that final image results depend on mutual collaboration and preparation.
